It’s a sky day, today!

The most amazing dawn this morning – colours from a palette of everything, I’m sure it was a reminder that we will have a full lunar eclipse tonight.

I will definitely be out with my camera. Because the eclipse will be almost directly overhead at around midnight, I will have to really consider my vantage point. I would like to be in a deep ravine with fern fronds trailing in as silhouettes across the image, something a little primordial I think…  I’ll see what I can come up with!

In the meantime, hi to all my friends in New Bedford Mass – here’s a pic from last time I was at a witch burning in Salem – seems like an ideal Christmas Card shot!  We are just (slowly) heading for Summer, and I just know what it’s like where you are!

I wonder what or who is under that snowdrift?
